SVS have been importing and distributing Split Fire Japan coil packs made exclusively for various Nissan applications, and Mazda MX5 models since 2001. These are especially of interest to the Nissan Skyline, 200sx (Silvia) and 300Zx (Fairlady) market place where factory individual coil packs (ie one ignition coil per cylinder)are both expensive to replace and known to break down with age.

In the Skyline GTR arena, Split fire entered the market having proven a 7.9ps gain on a near standard model. The market has further expanded in recent years where new Nissan replacement stock coils are found to be more expensive to replace than a new set of Split-Fires, justifying their use further in terms of economic as well as performance gains
